Katie and Meredith kept running into the same thing in the same fitting rooms: a market that only knew one trick, and it was squeeze.
Everything on the rack was built to push in.
Shapewear promised a smoother line and delivered heat, digging bands and the urge to peel it off the second you got home. It flattened the very things we would rather lift, and it squeezed us out of the clothes we actually wanted to wear.
It also wasn’t made for the bodies we were living in. Postpartum. Menopause. Ageing skin. Weight loss. Bodies that have carried, fed, trained and survived. Nobody was designing for a woman who wants support without compression — and still wants to show skin.
So we made liftwear.

We started BAUD because we are moms. Our bodies have carried, fed and changed, and the only support still on the market wanted to squeeze us flat. We wanted lift, comfort and the freedom to show skin — so we stopped looking for it and made it.
